On May 31, World No Tobacco Day, we held our “Don't Litter, Plant Seeds” event at the Peace Promenade. Organized in collaboration with Çanakkale Municipality, Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University, Çanakkale Provincial Health Directorate, and  Çanakkale Provincial Commission for the Fight Against Addiction, the event began with a tour of the addiction prevention booths, including our own booth as the Directorate. Following this, Çanakkale Mayor Muharrem Erkek, ÇOMÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Cüneyt Erenoğlu, and Provincial Health Director Gökhan Baştürk delivered speeches highlighting the significance of the day. We then held the award ceremony for the “Smoke-Free Campus Poster Competition” and conducted a cigarette butt collection activity at the Peace Belt.
