Psychiatric Perspective on Addiction Radio Programme

Prof. Dr. Sibel Oymak, Deputy Director of the Application and Research Centre for Combating Addiction, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Alperen Korkmaz, Member of the Board of Directors, discussed addiction from a psychiatric perspective in this week's radio programme. The definition of addiction, which behaviours and substances are considered as addiction were mentioned. Which types of addiction are frequently seen in university students and the symptoms of addiction in university students were discussed. Treatment methods for addiction and effective techniques to combat addiction were discussed.
