Youth and Mental Health Empowerment Panel Held

The Youth and Mental Health Empowerment Panel, in which the Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University Addiction Prevention and Research Center was among the stakeholders, was held on December 18, 2025, at the Conference Hall of the Çanakkale Health Services Vocational School.

During the panel, key topics including tobacco addiction, technology addiction, and substance addiction were addressed by expert speakers. The presentations emphasized preventive and protective approaches aimed at promoting and strengthening young people’s mental health.

The event, which was followed with great interest by participants, highlighted the importance of multidisciplinary collaboration in addiction prevention and raised awareness through evidence-based information sharing. The panel concluded with an interactive question-and-answer session, and certificates of participation were presented at the end of the program.

As the Addiction Prevention and Research Center, we will continue our educational and awareness-raising activities to support youth mental health and combat addictions.
